Born in Milan in 1935.
After receiving her Doctorate in Medicine she approaches teaching herself
to paint with works from informal prints.
Associates with Lucio Fontana, Enrico Castellani and Piero Manzoni sharing
with them the artistic journey; in 1958 realises "Volumi", a monochromatic
work in which the canvas was cut, leaving the space behind visible.
In 1960 realises " Volumi a moduli sfasati (Volumes in confused modules)"
(hand-fused transparent plastics) which she exhibits at the Azimuth gallery
and at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam.
Is among the founders of the international movement "Nuove Tendenze (New
